| ahhh, how much i love great bargains!!
woke up this morning at 7am to go to beaver stadium for the trash to treasure
sale. it was my first time, so i didn't know what to expect ...
but i surely wasn't disappointed. they were selling items from
electronics to housewares to clothing. there was a massive line
of people ahead of us, but i was still lucky enough to score these
items:
eureka ez kleen vacuum $8
toaster $3
foreman grill $2
glasses cases $2
all items were donated and proceeds went to the united way.

| i just wanted to let everyone out there (especially those from penn
state) know that there's a scam going on so beware. i was
contacted a few weeks ago by a european girl interested in
subletting my apartment for the summer. after coming to an
agreement, she had a family friend from the united states send me a
money order. the money order was for an amount greater than
required for the rental payments, and it was requested that i give her
the remaining portion of the money. the large sum of money along
with the sketchy emails seemed a bit shady (rite, sandy?!) so i took
the money orders to the post office (where they were issued) and
discovered that they were counterfeit.
if you receive an email from a julia williams (or possibly anyone claiming they're from europe) disregard it.
